Ministry Description

Nursery/Preschool teachers and helpers are responsible for nurturing the infants and children in their care by introducing them to God through interactive bible lessons, while encouraging parents to reinforce these principals at home.

“What we have heard and known, what our fathers have told us.  We will not hide them from their children;  we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, ... so the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born and they in turn would tell their children.  They would put their trust in God and would not forget his deed but would keep his commands.”   Psalm 78: 3-7

Scheduled Time
The Nursery/Preschool area is available for parents to bring their children every Sunday at 10:15 a.m. (which is 15 minutes before the scheduled start of the main church services at 10:30 a.m.) and we ask that you pick them up within 15 minutes after the service.
CnG has a safe, adult-supervised nursery for those too young to participate in services. 

Curriculum
Because of the special requirements of meeting in a school, the Nursery/Preschool infants and children are in the same room.  But because of the care and dedication of the teachers and helpers the infants are cared for and nurtured while each toddler, preschooler and kindergartner is introduced to God and His Word through age appropriate lessons and play.  Parents are encouraged to reinforce what is learned at home with the help of a “Parent Page”.  They include words to songs, and suggestions on interactions with the child to reinforce  what is being taught.
